BuyerAuth
Paradata was the first payment gateway to fully integrate Buyer Authentication (also known as Payer Authentication) into its payment platform. Paradata BuyerAuth encompasses MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa and JCB J-Secure; the most advanced security technology available to protect merchants and consumers against Internet fraud.
BuyerAuth protects the merchant and their customer against fraud during an online purchase, through a secure PIN code that is entered by the customer along with their credit card information. The PIN code is an electronic signature that verifies the customer's identity.
BuyerAuth supports credit card industry initiatives to reduce the incidence of online fraudulent transactions and create a basis for guaranteed payments to Internet merchants.
